ABOUT TED
Ted’s career started with a 30 year work experience with General Electric. Majority of his time was spent in the Locomotive division, but spent 4 years with GE Aircraft Engine and finished with 3 years in Power Systems.
In the Locomotive division he had many diverse work assignments, most notable was managing the conversion of an old warehouse into a new service facility. This included retrofitting the
building for heavy manufacturing as well as overseeing the equipment purchasing and installation, process development as this was a new business for the Erie facility. Additionally, he was transferred to assist in the building of a new facility to handle the same type if work in Monterey, Mexico.
Ted spent many of his last 10 years at GE traveling the world auditing and teaching processes in Locomotive service centers.
In 2006 Ted decided to retire from GE and start his own business with his brother Rick to build new homes in the South Bay area. At first they only did speculative projects, but as the market turned they moved to custom homes for clients. This has been our focus mainly since 2010. Ted utilizes his process improvement and quality experiences at GE to produce high quality homes in the South Bay area.
ABOUT PATTY
Patty Farnham knows how to make a house a home, both figuratively and literally. The native of Brazil has a had a lot of practice doing just that. After having left her home country, Farnham lived in Mexico, and in a wide variety of places in the United States, from Pennsylvania to Louisiana before finally settling in Redondo Beach more than a decade ago.
Farnham obtained her first real estate license in Louisiana in 2005, and after Hurricane Katrina her team helped many displaced families find their replacement homes.
“I love diversity, different cultures, and traveling. I’m open to listen to learn, to share and to improve myself daily. Gratitude and thankfulness are the basics of my success.” And Farnham has brought her dozen years of experience to do just that, serving clients throughout the South Bay, as well as Playa Vista, Marina Del Rey, Playa Del Rey, Westchester and Culver City.
For her efforts, Farnham has won a number of professional awards, and has been recognized for her work with Habitat for Humanity.
In her spare time, she works with her partner and husband, building high-end custom and spec homes in Manhattan Beach and South Bay area, as well as spending time with their son. Her interests include different cultures, reading, photography, music, and yoga.
